Nicolas “SK Christian Rapper” Shivers
Nicolas “SK Christian Rapper” Shivers is the Founder and CEO of Heart Soldiers Ministries and Heart Soldiers LLC. Since beginning his Christian Hip Hop ministry in 2007, SK has dedicated his life to using music, mentorship, and outreach to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and impact the next generation.

SK released his first independent solo project, God Is Great, in 2007, gaining radio airplay throughout San Diego and opportunities to perform at numerous events and outreaches. His passion for ministry through music ultimately led to the creation of Heart Soldiers Ministries, serving youth and families through faith, music, mentorship, Bible study, and community outreach.

In 2010, SK helped launch Playground Preachers, a Christian Hip Hop group created to give young people an opportunity to develop their gifts while making music for Jesus. Under his leadership, Playground Preachers has released seven albums. SK also writes, produces, and manages Kingdum Teenz, the ministry’s high school Christian Hip Hop group, which has released two albums and a mixtape.

Throughout his career and ministry, SK has produced more than 20 albums, including 10 solo projects, while investing in young artists and helping youth discover and develop their God-given gifts.

Together with his wife, Kandis Shivers, and their four children, SK serves the community in El Cajon, California, leading Heart Soldiers with a vision to raise up the next generation of worshippers, leaders, and ambassadors for Jesus Christ.
Raising the Next Generation for Christ
Heart Soldiers Ministries is a Christ-centered youth ministry dedicated to reaching children, teens, families, and the community through faith, music, mentorship, education, and service. Founded by Nicolas Shivers, the ministry has been sharing the Gospel through Christian Hip Hop and Gospel music since 2007.
Our mission is to raise up young people who know Jesus Christ, discover their God-given purpose, and become leaders in their homes, schools, churches, and communities.
